Most obviously, the target market of this product are those who seek for a healthier lifestyle, more gorgeous bodies, and plainly, happiness. They bank on the notion that most of the people are overweight or obese because of eating unhealthily. If you are planning to lose weight, then you may be a potential market of ViSalus
The next step is to join the Body by Vi, 90-Day Challenge.
If you have not seen the video that explains the Body by Vi 90-Day Challenge in the company website, you might think that this is similar to how the show The Biggest Loser works. Unfortunately, it’s not.
Although it’s a weight loss and fitness challenge, customers are required to buy one kit from the 5 Challenge kits. These kits include the famous Vi-Shake and a sampler of its patent-pending Shape Up Health Flavors. Once you have chosen a kit, which is delivered at your doorstep (at an extra charge of course), you have to keep buying until you reach your 90-day goal.
The last step of the challenge is to tell about your Body by Vi experience.
This is actually a longer sentence to exactly mean: recruit others. To keep you stuck on the challenge, it has an added spin that the company calls “Refer 3, Get Next Month Free.” Basically, you recruit three other challengers who will technically pay for your fourth kit. Hence, you get the product for free!
When you share about your experience, you don’t do it publicly on social media networks. Recruit others and talk about your experience in ViSalus’s members-only website, which all its members know as a personal health platform.
Taking the challenge is more appealing because of this private online community of those taking the challenge. This exclusive portal links all those who are using the product around the world to share an exclusive sense of inspiration to one another. Moreover, challengers can get exclusive tips, tools and exclusive expert advice from this private forum.
ViSalus Reviews – Should You Buy the products?
Let’s say that you are overweight, and you’re considering shedding off some pounds and living a healthier lifestyle. Let’s also say that you are filthy rich and money is not a problem. Will ViSalus and Body by Vi work for you? YES.
However, there are already a number of reviews that talk about the ingredients found in Vi-Shakes. It all boils down to protein, fiber, and multivitamins. Doesn’t energy supplement sound artificial? If you will examine closely, Vi-Shakes contain ingredients and chemicals, like soy, Xanthan gum, and sucralose (an artificial sweetener), which are not healthy. So if you want something healthy, there are various sources of healthier protein, fiber, and multivitamins. However, among the satisfied product consumers of Vi-Shakes, it works for them. Everyone included in the exclusive circle of ViSalus say that this product totally works. The placebo effect perhaps is to blame.
So will this product work for you? The answer could still be YES.
But you can’t just buy this product or join the 90-Day Challenge as you wish. You have to become part of the multilevel marketing scheme first. ViSalus is an MLM product. If ViSalus were a commercial product, then anybody can just simply drop by the grocery, a vitamins and supplements store, or any convenient store to buy this. However, there is no such product displayed in commercial stores. There are strings attached if you want to purchase this item.
As with any MLM businesses, these strings include attractive perks such as free products, prizes, vacations, hotels accommodations, etc. You will be able to enjoy these things if you, as a distributor and not just a consumer, move up the ranks or maintain a constant number of sales or leads. One needs to recruit new challengers to build a “downline” that will sustain the benefits, bonuses, and perks. If you are not able to do so, you will end up complaining and unsatisfied. The Question People are Asking – Is ViSalus a Scam?
No. ViSalus is not a scam. ViSalus is an MLM business, and it is what it is. Otherwise, they will allow consumers to simply buy their products as they are. Perhaps their belief in their products is not so great that they have to mask it to make it more attractive.
In the end, if you have the money to burn, get into ViSalus. Believing in this product is a choice. If you choose to buy something that you think will work for you, regardless of the price, then the choice is simple: join ViSalus.
There is a need to orient the public, however, the truth about it. Who are the target market of this company anyway? If it’s the über rich who have nowhere to put their money on, that’s fine especially because to each his own. But there are also those who get deceived and in the end regret having made a bad decision.

ViSalus should avoid tapping into the market that will not be able to sustain its participation within the company. Be transparent as to tell its potential customers that this is for the rich and skip the part that says they will become rich simply by losing weight and by joining the club. There have been many research done that can prove that a minimum-wage earner cannot eventually be as rich as those in the “upline” particularly because they lose money in the process. In the end, they just serve as fillers.
If ViSalus boasts about the product, then why not just sell the product as is. If the product claims to be very effective, then how come there’s a need to turn it into an MLM business?
Many would find approximating the value of the product difficult particularly because of its lack of direct competition. That is why, when the product is pegged against something similar, but not directly the same, the makers will contend its quality. Perhaps the MLM aspect is the justification for its overpriced merchandise.
But then again, reexamine your objective as to why you want to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. Do you want to turn that into a business?
